Logic Puzzle
The Vanishing Brother
Two fathers and two sons sit down to eat breakfast together. They each eat exactly one egg. Only three eggs are eaten in total. How is this possible?
Answer: The group is a grandfather, a father, and a son — three generations, two father-son relationships. The "two fathers and two sons" are actually just three people.

Pattern Break — What Comes Next?
Look at this sequence: 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, __ — What fills the blank? Each number is a perfect square: 1²=1, 2²=4, 3²=9... spotting that hidden rule is exactly the pattern recognition that IQ assessments measure — and you can train it.
Answer: 36 (that's 6²). Took you a second? That's the whole point.
Word Puzzle
The Faster Farmer
A farmer has 17 sheep. All but 9 run away. How many sheep does the farmer have left? Most people rush to subtract — 17 minus 9 equals 8. But "all but 9 run away" means 9 stay. Your brain's shortcut instinct is the puzzle itself.
Answer: 9 sheep remain. Today's lesson: read every word.
